Fairtree Simonsberg Contour Trail Run, Day 2
The 12km route turned out to be an unexpected 15km on both days, and we were happy to have done it.
"The event will start and finish at Delvera farm where runners will be treated to breakfast and lunch, kiddies entertainment and a wonderful area to relax after their run, with showers and massage service. Two routes will be on offer for the two-day stage race, the long route being around 25km each day and the other a 12km route on Saturday and Sunday."

Meerendal Trail Run
One of the favourites of the series - a mid-week run at Meerendal wine estate. Popular among mountain bikers for the single tracks, this route slowly winds up the hill as you chase the sunset for spectacular views of the fading light over Table Mountain in the distance. Fighting the wind all the way, and tumbling over some speed bumps as the headlamps became over-enthusiastic, the race for first and last spots battled until the very end. Great evening of running. Kirstenbosch Trail Run
Trail running through Kirstenbosch Gardens is everything you would expect, beautiful indigenous plants and stunning views as the mountain changes colour with the disappearing sun. The part you tend to forget is that you are basically at the foot of a mountain, and the only way to add distance is to go up and down, and up and down again, and then when you finally think you have climbed your last quaint, mossy, wooden step, the trail takes you up one more time. Indoor Trampoline Parks
Trampoline parks are fun and after an hour of jumping and laughing you suddenly realise that you have had an excellent workout!
