For many people, one of the highlights of summer – music on the river banks as you float around with friends in the sun. Beautiful campsite (hot showers!), great food stalls and a stocked bar. Up the Creek is a festival for friends, if you’re new to the festival scene, this is definitely a great place to start.

- Your inflatable! (preferably only one per person – make sure you look after your own inflatable/s.)
- Rope or string to tie your inflatable to other inflatables, or for in case you want to leave it on the river bank for a while (the wind can pick up suddenly)
- Cash (some banking facilities, but cash is easiest)
- A mesh-bag, or bag you don’t mind getting wet, to attach to your inflatable where you can keep some drinks, sunscreen, your slops/sandles
- Waterproof clothing in case it rains
- Pre-made drinks (frozen if possible), decanted into plastic bottles are great

- Snacks – there are several food stalls but late night snacks are nice
- Headlamp
- Festival gear
- Cover your tent pegs with bits of pool noodle or tennis balls to prevent tripping
- A beacon to lead you back to your tent at night
