Chef turned wine maker Olivia Mitchell, together with her mum Vikki are the ladies behind this "Garagiste" wine label. Fabulously elegant wines produced in their single garage in Greyton carrying on the family business that late dad Andy Mitchell started in 2003. Sandboarding
Go sandboarding down the dunes in Atlantis or Betty's Bay for an active day out in the sun. With dunes of varied slopes and heights you can build up from the 'baby' slopes to the steepest inclines - even if you just go down toboggan-style! Expect sand to get everywhere and be sure to apply sunscreen before your first roll in the sand.
Silvermine Picnic
Head out to Silvermine for a picnic and swim with friends, or a short hike before you jump in the reservoir. A great spot to spend the day relaxing and have a long, leisurely swim. There are also several braai facilities, but first check whether braaing is allowed on the day (during summer and high winds it's not allowed due to the risk of veldfires).
