Meerendal Trail Run

One of the favourites of the series - a mid-week run at Meerendal wine estate.  Popular among mountain bikers for the single tracks, this route slowly winds up the hill as you chase the sunset for spectacular views of the fading light over Table Mountain in the distance.  Fighting the wind all the way, and tumbling over some speed bumps as the headlamps became over-enthusiastic, the race for first and last spots battled until the very end.
