Still operating and bookable via CapeNature, but the official name is now the 'Oudebosch Eco Cabins' in the Kogelberg Nature Reserve (five+ self-catering cabins named Erica, Marsh Rose, Fire Lily, Iris, Everlasting Daisy). Booking is via booking.capenature.co.za and demand is high, so book well in advance. Coordinates refined to the actual cabin cluster (was a coarse -34.3/18.97 guess).
The absolute perfect spot to get away, just an hour and a half out of Cape Town. Nestled in the mountain, it’s peaceful and tranquil. Beautifully designed self-catering eco cabins with ample living space, kitchen and braai facilities. Take a walk, hike in the mountains or simply bide your time lounging at the pool.
